Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SharpSignal platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must meet the following requirements to use the Service:

• You must be at least 21 years of age
• You must be located in a jurisdiction where sports betting analytics services are legal
• You must not be prohibited from receiving such services under any applicable law
• You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.

3. Description of Service

SharpSignal provides:

• Machine-learning generated sports analytics and model outputs ("picks")
• Statistical data, trend analysis, and research tools for sports betting markets
• Environmental and contextual data (park factors, weather, umpire data)
• Educational content about betting markets and statistical concepts

All picks, predictions, and analytics are generated by automated models and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial advice or guaranteed outcomes. Past model performance does not guarantee future results.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

SharpSignal offers the following subscription tiers:

• Free — limited access to scores, definitions, and one free daily insight. No credit card required.
• Sharp — full analytics and ML picks for one sport of your choice. Billed monthly or annually. Includes 2 sport swaps per billing cycle.
• Pro — full analytics and ML picks for all sports, plus full Discord access. Billed monthly or annually.

Free Trial

Paid plans include a 3-day free trial. Your payment method is collected at signup but you will not be charged until day 4. You may cancel at any time before the trial ends and you will not be charged.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize SharpSignal to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Annual plans are billed as a single payment covering 12 months.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Sport Swaps (Sharp Tier)

Sharp tier subscribers may switch their active sport up to 2 times per billing cycle via the account settings page. Unused swaps do not carry over to the next cycle. Swaps reset automatically on your billing renewal date.

Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@sharpsignal.bet within 7 days of the charge and we will review your case.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice. Founding members who subscribed at launch pricing will retain their rate for as long as their subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

6. Discord Community (Pro Tier)

Pro tier subscribers receive access to the SharpSignal Discord server. Access to Discord is a feature of the Pro subscription and may be revoked if your subscription lapses or if you violate these Terms or Discord's own Terms of Service.

While participating in our Discord, you agree not to:

• Share, redistribute, or resell picks, analytics, or any SharpSignal content outside the community
• Harass, threaten, or demean other members
• Post spam, solicitations, or unauthorized promotions
• Share your Discord invite or access with non-subscribers
• Violate Discord's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service

We reserve the right to remove any member from the Discord server at our discretion for conduct violations, with or without warning.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the Service without written permission
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our analytics, picks, or model outputs
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our models or proprietary algorithms
• Use automated bots, scripts, or tools to access the Service
• Share your account credentials with others or create accounts on behalf of others
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems

8. No Financial Advice

SharpSignal does not provide financial, investment, or betting advice. All picks, predictions, analytics, edge scores, and confidence ratings are generated by automated statistical models and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They should not be construed as recommendations to place any specific bet.

You are solely responsible for your own betting decisions and any resulting financial outcomes. SharpSignal is not liable for any losses incurred as a result of using our platform, regardless of any pick or recommendation displayed.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to our machine-learning models, algorithms, analytics methodologies, design, and code — are owned by SharpSignal and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on the Service without express written permission from SharpSignal.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any picks, predictions, or analytics provided.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SharpSignal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $100 if you have not paid us anything).

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SharpSignal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit to the Service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in the United States.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by notifying you via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
